Model Trailways, sent us another Allerton Steam Pumper update - the boiler cap is now complete! According to Ken, this part started with a 3.5” aluminum billet and almost two days of nerve wracking machining to complete; it is also cored out to reduce the weight as well. Ken says that this is the last major hurdle of the big parts - sounds like we're getting closer to making this into the next Model Trailways kit!
