for Model Trailways, sent us an update on his progress of the Allerton Steam Pumper! Ken is moving along quite nicely - this will be a great addition to our Model Trailway line of horse-drawn wagon kits, hoping during the fall / winter of 2013!
Notes From Ken: Here is an update of the flywheel linkage finally completed. I was starting to feel like Noah doing everything in two’s . The pipes from the steam box to the boiler were the greatest challenge forming and bending to get the proper angles with the fittings to match the boiler surface. Then the flywheel linkage was cleaned up and the bearing cover retaining screws were added using 1.5 mm rivets to simulate the screw heads.
